ACT Tutoring

The ACT is a standardized test for high school achievement and college admissions. It is most popularly used in the Midwest and Southern states, however it is slowly gaining recognition on both coasts. It is an alternative to the SAT; it is another must-have for any college acceptance.

The mathematics and science reasoning portions of this exam are of the same caliber as the SAT’s.  The 60-minute math section covers basic math, algebra, geometry, and elementary trigonometry. As calculators are permitted on this section only, Adam Wes tutors can also offer tricks to help students use their calculator correctly and efficiently.

The 35-minute science test is testing a student’s ability to interpret, analyze, evaluate and solve problems using proper reasoning steps. This is something our tutors are well-versed in and feel confident helping every student get a firm grasp on before their test date.
